Welcome to East Gippsland Gymnastics Club!
We are based in Bairnsdale and we have been providing gymnastics training to the local community for more than 30 years. You can learn more about the club and its history on the "About Us" page.
We offer six gymsports, making us one of the most diverse clubs in Melbourne! We cater to all ages, from our just-walking Kindergymnasts to our adult gymnastics group.
In 2007 we received an award from the Office for Disability's "Bar None" project, which recognised our efforts to help peopl with disabilties to participate fully in community life.
In 2008 we were the proud recipients of the 2008 Victorian Sport and Recreation Awards - Organisation and Management category.

You can help our club!
The delay in receipt of the permit and certificate of occupancy for our new building have taken a financial toll on our club. We were unable to run our recreational classes during term 1 leading to a reduction in income, and a significant decrease in member numbers. The club is now seeking donations to raise funds for the relocation.
We are asking all members, and our local community, to help us raise $200 per gymnast ($50000) in total. This will cover all the additional costs of moving the club, and allow financial security for the first three months while we rebuild our membership base and initiate our new classes and other fundraising projects.
Our club is more than a place for kids to do gym. It includes members of all ages and abilities, and is a fun, friendly and community-minded place. It provides training in discipline, teamwork and communication. It is a place for adults to relax and do something that takes them away from the pressures of work. It provides development training for teenagers, allowing them to learn skills for employment and become coaches. It runs competitions and events for people from across Victoria. It is somewhere for local families to hold birthday parties.
